YOUR CHALLENGE:

Gardens and greenery don’t normally come to mind when we think of roadways. This year, we want to reimagine the bridges, highways, and sidewalks that criss-cross our city. Think about how you get to school — whether you walk, are in a car, or ride a train, you probably pass by a lot of concrete. What would your commute look like if your bus stop was covered in vines or if forested bridges went over your head? For this challenge, we ask you to draw a new vision of the transportation systems of your community that incorporates plants in innovative ways.
