Filming and Photography
We welcome guests to capture the beauty of Fairchild for personal enjoyment. Photography and video taken for personal use are permitted and encouraged. However, these images and videos may not be used for commercial purposes.
Planning a photo session for a special occasion like an engagement, maternity shoot, quinceañera, graduation, or other milestone? We’re delighted to be a part of your celebration—but please note that a photography permit is required.
Once your photo session is scheduled, you will be provided with details on how to obtain your permit.

- All photo sessions must be scheduled in advance (7-10 day notice is required for appointments)—no walk-ins will be accepted.
- Sessions must take place between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Regular admission tickets do not cover photography permit fees.
- Photo sessions are not included as a Fairchild member benefit.
Fairchild’s Photography Policy
While on the grounds, visitors may be photographed by Fairchild photographers, and these images and likeness therein may be used for the purpose of promoting the Garden. You may choose to opt out by informing the photographer.
Fairchild reserves the right to refuse admittance for photography and/or to change its Photo Policy without advance notice.
