Thank you for your interest in the Growing Beyond Earth® classroom-based citizen science project. With funding from NASA, program materials and equipment are provided free for middle and high schools throughout the US. Funding and supplies are limited.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
Teachers must register to attend a mandatory professional development workshop. Teachers must also submit a Lease Agreement if they plan to participate in this challenge.
REQUIRED TEACHER WORKSHOP DATE: TBA
During this time, teachers will learn the research protocols.

Timeline:
Your experiment can run over Thanksgiving Break. You were provided with a deeper tray which holds more water and can keep your plants over a longer break. This is not a standard measure, overwatering in general may harm your plants and should not be used on a regular basis.
