What participating schools receive

Real research, in partnership with NASA

With funding from NASA, we are able to welcome new U.S. schools into the program each year. Newly recruited schools receive a PlantLab and a starter kit, and every teacher is trained by Fairchild and NASA scientists.

We also offer pathways for international schools to participate. Contact us to learn more.

Who can apply

Eligibility

Classroom teachers

Applicants must be classroom teachers.

Grades 6–12

GBE is for middle and high school classrooms.

U.S. or international

Schools in the United States and around the world can take part.

Full academic year

Teachers attend a training session and run GBE for two semesters.
