Registration: Teachers are required to register every year. Registration for The Fairchild Challenge can be done at any time during the academic year. Participation is free for all schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe Counties. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Each teacher that plans to participate with their students must fill out a 2023–2024 Teacher Registration Form

Notes about registration:

• If you do not see your school information in the registration drop-down menu, please add it. It can take up to 24 hours for your school to appear in the drop-down menu after registering.
• If you receive an error which states that you have entered a duplicate value for your email, you have already registered and we have your email in our database. 

Step 2: Attend the optional Teachers’ Information Launch Workshop on Saturday, August 26, 2023 to learn more about the 2023–2024 Challenges offered for middle schools — RSVP here!

Ready to participate?

• Look over Challenges offered and build a team of teachers at school. We encourage teachers to collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines.
• Read Challenge descriptions carefully and coordinate student participation.
• Download entry evaluation forms to guide students as to what judges will be looking for.
• Follow entry submission requirements and submit individual Challenge entry forms.

Challenge entry forms: Each school (not individual student) must submit one completed entry form by the specified due date for each of the Challenges in which they compete. Please identify which teachers will be submitting your school’s entry to prevent multiple submissions.

PLEASE NOTE, SCHOOLS MUST SUBMIT INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGE ENTRY FORMS FOR EACH OF THE COMPETITIONS ENTERED.
