Group Programs

Spend an afternoon at Fairchild with a group of friends or colleagues. Our group tours provide a unique South Florida experience and may include a Tram Tour, a Guided Walk, and a boxed or buffet-style lunch, additional charges apply. For information or to make a reservation, call Visitor Services and Guest Relations at 305.667.1651, ext. 3328, or email visitorservices@fairchildgarden.org.

  • Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance. 
  • Group Rates are for groups of 20 or more.
  • Rates are $25 per person, or $18 per person for groups of 20 guests or more..
  • Your group escort and bus driver (if applicable) receive free admission.
  • Lunch is available for an additional cost at The Glasshouse Cafe by Le Basque at 305.669.1070 or 786.973.2898. It is recommended to pre-purchase lunch in advance of your arrival.

Group Visits During Festivals

Please note that Tram Tours may be suspended during events or festivals to ensure the safety of our guests. For information or to make reservations, call Visitor Services and Guest Relations at 305.667.1651, ext. 3388, or email visitorservices@fairchildgarden.org.

School Year Field Trips

  • Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance and are on a first come, first served basis. 
  • Programs run Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. October through May.
  • Bag lunches are welcome.

Private Tours

Enhance your experience  in the Garden by taking an exclusive Private Tour! Whether you’re new to Fairchild or a longtime Member, these informative docent-led tours are offered throughout the day and are available for individuals or small groups of up to seven guests in the comfort of our shuttle carts; larger groups are accommodated in our trams. Guests enjoy the Garden’s sprawling 83 acres for approximately 1 ½ hours with our expertly trained and friendly volunteer docents. Afterward, explore the Garden at your leisure. Lunch is available for an additional cost at The Glasshouse Cafe by Le Basque at 305.669.1070 or 786.973.2898. It is recommended to pre-purchase lunch in advance of your arrival.

To provide your party with the best experience, we recommend booking your private tour at least 2 weeks prior to your visit. We cannot accommodate day-of bookings.   

Private Tour Pricing (includes Garden admission, Garden exhibits, Wings of the Tropics exhibit, special exhibits, and a Private Tour lasting approximately 1 ½ hours).

Groups of up to five guests: $250
Groups of up to seven guests: $300
Groups of more than seven guests:  $500 (limit 20 guests) additional guests $24.95 per person
