Our annual Member’s Day Plant Sale is a favorite celebration of plants and people. Members get early access to an extraordinary range of plants, with Fairchild horticulturists on hand to share expert advice and insights. It’s a once-a-year chance to bring home something truly special.

A TRADITION ROOTED IN HISTORY

Started over 86 years ago by Dr. David Fairchild himself, this event remains a rare opportunity to purchase unique plants cultivated right here at Fairchild Garden. Many of these plants are only available at this one-day event, making it a must for collectors and casual gardeners alike.

As a valued Member, you’ll enjoy a 90-minute head start on plant shopping, beginning at 8:30 a.m. You can also join guided tours of our Tropical Plant Conservatory and Rare Plant House, offered at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Quantities are limited, so we recommend bringing a wagon or cart to transport your finds home.
