Under the guidance of Short Chef, students will learn how to make a simple, delicious Valentine’s Day dinner that you can recreate at home. We’ll a crunchy and refreshing salad with feta and pomegranates, intense and tangy smoked salmon canapes, bright and creamy fruit and brie tarts, garlic and herb stuffed chicken breast with prosciutto, and delightfully sweet strawberry cakes.
This is class is primarily a demonstration, however each person will have the opportunity to take part in making these dishes, while learning a lot of kitchen wisdom in the process. All supplies will be provided.
Instructor Bio: Short Chef is a life-long culinary expert who has dedicated many years to educating kids about proper nutrition. He works with many schools and school districts to provide nutritional cooking workshops through Creative Learning & Play Programs. Short Chef taught at over 25 schools, presented at Health, Green and Fitness Fairs, spoken on panels, appeared on TV programs, and begun a video series to better educate families on how to have fun in the kitchen that will lead to healthier lives.
