Mangos, bananas, lemons, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes – just some of the fruits and vegetables that last longer when stored at room temperature, when not in contact with hard surfaces, and when given proper air circulation. Rey Alvarez of Macramé del Rey, teaches us how to solve these problems by making beautiful fruit hammocks with the art of Macramé.
During the class, your instructor will introduce you to the history of macramé and teach you a few basic knots to get you started, walk you through the planning and design process, and practice how to make a fruit hammock using those knots. This is a beginner macramé class! No prior experience is needed.
Materials will be provided.
