Challenge 3A: Miami, My Garden – Cultural Gardens
(PreK to 1st Grade)

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Miami is like a big quilt made of pieces of cultures from around the world. Every family and community brings special traditions that make our city unique. The cool thing about these traditions is that many use plants in fun and important ways.

For this challenge, we ask you to think of an important place in your community where people come together and imagine it like a garden. Maybe your hub is the playground, a community center, a church or a skate park! Draw a picture of the place you have in mind with plants taking the spotlight. Don’t forget to include a title!
