Challenge 5: Environmental Immersion Day – Seeking Environmental All Stars

For Individuals or Groups (2–5 students per group) — Maximum points: 200 (100 points per entry, 2 entries per school)

YOUR CHALLENGE: With two nearby national parks, several renowned research universities, and a myriad of environmental organizations and professionals working locally, Miami is a unique center for progress in the environmental field. This year, we are bringing back Environmental Immersion Day to introduce students to researchers and scientists who are making positive environmental impacts in South Florida. Investigate environmental jobs that interest you and take note of the qualifications that they seek in a candidate. Then, write up a job description for the environmental job of your dreams, incorporating the insights you learned in your research. Downloadable PDF

 Entry must include student name(s), grade, and school
  Job description and bibliography must be saved as a single pdf file and uploaded on entry form. PDF file name must include school name and student name
 Job description utilizes the provided template
 Bibliography cites 3 sources and follows MLA or APA format
 On-time entry submission (late entries may not receive points)
