2025-2026 Fairchild Challenge Winners and Highlights
- Engaged more than 71,000 PreK-12th grade students from 194 schools in across the USA
- Awarded more than $75,000 in prizes, equipment and garden grants
- 4 new external collaborations with Miami-Dade County Office of Resilience, Miami-Dade County’s Environmentally Endangered Lands program, MDCPS Green Schools Recognition Program, and Dream in Green
- Planted 1500 native plants and endangered orchids in schoolyards
- 585 participating teachers
- 33 hours of teacher and student workshops and professional developments
- More than 60 volunteers that judged Challenges and assisted with programming
