The funds raised directly sustain The Fairchild Challenge, the nation’s largest tropical science education program, reaching more than 350,000 students annually. They support leading-edge research to conserve rare and endangered plants of the Americas.
They advance flagship initiatives such as the Million Orchid Project, restoring native orchids across the city; the Million Butterfly Project, reintroducing pollinators to Miami’s neighborhoods; and the Million Balconies Project, transforming urban living into a force for ecological change.
