Thrinax radiata

Range: South Florida, West Indies, Mexico to Central America

One of several palms native to our region, Thrinax radiata grows naturally at the very southern tip of Florida and the Keys. It is a tall, slender, graceful plant that is easy to grow. Throughout the year it bears beautiful long stalks of white flowers followed by white bead-like fruits that are attractive to birds.
