Range: Mexico, Central America & West Indies

This is an aggressive, fast-growing vine with striking orange-red flowers. It grows easily in our climate and blooms throughout the year. A member of the sunflower family, it is attractive to many kinds of pollinators including hummingbirds. When grown without support, it becomes a rapidly spreading groundcover. It needs to be managed carefully to keep it under control.
