Tuckeroo

Cupaniopsis anacardioides

Range: Australia

Tuckeroo was first planted in South Florida in the 1960s. It produces large quantities of fruit that is eaten by birds, so it is able to spread far and wide throughout our region. Now it is one of the most aggressive invasive plant species in native habitats, where it outcompetes native plants.
