Triangle palm

Palma triangular

Range: Southern Madagascar

Madagascar is famous for its many kinds of palms, and this is certainly one of the most recognizable. It’s leaves are arranged in three vertical rows, giving the crown a triangular shape, whereas most palms have leaves arranged in a spiral. The triangle palms is common in cultivation but rare in its native habitat, the rainforests of southern Madagascar.

Palma de oso de peluche

Dypsis decaryi

Range: Madagascar meridional
