Clerodendrum quadriloculare

Range: New Guinea & Philippines

The flowers of this Clerodendrum resemble white shooting stars with a bright pink trail. A member of the mint family, this species grows quickly into a small tree. In late winter and early spring it produces masses of flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. When not in flower, the green and purple leaves provide contrast to the garden. In South Florida it can spread aggressively if it is not carefully maintained

Las flores de este Clerodendrum se asemejan a estrellas fugaces blancas con un rastro de color rosa brillante. Miembro de la familia de la menta, esta especie crece rápidamente hasta convertirse en un árbol pequeño.
