Range: Philippines

This rare vine, found on the slopes of volcanoes in the Philippines, has become a favorite plant in glasshouses and tropical gardens. Its flowers have an out-of-this-world turquoise color like no other flower. Borne in long, hanging clusters, the flowers are pollinated by bats in their native habitat. Here in South Florida, they put on a magnificent show of blooms in springtime.
