Range:  Madagascar, Southeast Asia, and the Western Pacific

Dracaena angustifolia is a slender, upright plant with narrow, glossy green leaves arranged densely along thin stems. Native to Madagascar and neighboring regions, it is well adapted to tropical and subtropical climates and is commonly used in landscaping, hedges, and as a houseplant. It grows well in partial shade and requires minimal maintenance. While the species is typically green-leaved, there are popular variegated forms as well.
