Virtual Class: Introduction to Houseplants with Gabriella Plants

This interactive, live, lecture-style course will teach the viewer everything they would need to know to be able to grow houseplants to the best of their ability! Covering it all from how a plant functions to understanding growth factors such as light, water, humidity and substrate, whether you are a plant novice or would just like to brush up on your plant growing abilities, this course is for you!

Instructor Bio: Ever since Pre-K, Brett has been hooked on the wonderful world of plants. With a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture & Agribusiness, a Technical Degree in Greenhouse Management, Technical Certifications in Greenhouse Management, Landscape Design & Floriculture, Brett has an unquenchable thirst for plant knowledge & a tireless dedication to teaching and educating others. Currently Brett is Botanist & Head Grower for Gabriella Plants in Oviedo Florida where he oversees the production of over 1000 different varieties of plants & works continuously in his hybridization plant breeding efforts.

Gabriella Plants is a third-generation, family-owned nursery located in Oviedo, Florida, that specializes in growing and shipping tropical houseplants.
