Saturdays, June 11, 18, and 25, 2022 | 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

If you are a beginner to orchids or have been growing them for years and want to learn more this is the orchid class for you!  Join Dr. Sandy Schultz, an experienced grower of orchids for over 30 years, to discuss the orchid family with an introduction to genera and species and their culture. She will discuss the best locations for growing orchids, repotting, mounting and orchids in the landscape. Also covered will be orchid pests, diseases, and fertilizers.

This three-part class will meet every Saturday from June 11 through the 25th, 2022.

Instructor Bio: Sandra Schultz Ph.D., Professor Emeritus Miami Dade College, past president of Orchid Society of Coral Gables and South Florida Orchid Society, and native Miamian has grown and exhibited orchids for more than 30 years.

Members $100 (for a three-session class)
Non-members $120 (for a three-session class)
