Thursdays, February 10 – March 17, 2022 | 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
With classic masterworks as the focus, students will learn how to recreate famous paintings in a way that is as beginner friendly as it is foundational. Basic sketches start in pencil and are then colored with marker. This way, students learn basic composition skills while simplifying complex images with a limited color palette.
Classes will be taught in the “draw along” style, where the instructor will draw the artwork while students follow along. There will be plenty of small breaks along the way to get one on one instruction, so everyone can do their best work. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to join. Most class projects will be completed in one day, with new projects beginning each class.
The program fee does not include materials. A list of suggested supplies will be provided before the start of the class.
