Mondays, May 31 – June 21 | 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Claim your ground, set up your spot, and let the beauty of our garden be your muse! Join us as we paint and draw on location to capture idyllic scenes throughout the garden! This course is a must for those wanting a breath of fresh air, while enjoying the best of Plein Aire rendering in a wide range of media. This course is suitable for the beginner to advanced levels that wish to explore different types of media and approaches to drawing as well as painting.

This class is in-person. We are following strict social distancing protocols and masks are required. Thank you for your cooperation.

The program fee does not include materials. A list of suggested supplies will be provided before the start of the class.  

INSTRUCTOR: Carlos Gallostra is a representational artist whose practice has been shaped under numerous celebrated mentors in the U.S. and Italy throughout the years. He holds a B.F.A. from the prestigious New World School of the Arts of Miami as well as an M.F.A. and an M.S. from the Pratt Institute of New York. In addition, he has furthered his studies at various ateliers, academies, and museums throughout the U.S. and abroad. Next to crafting his work, he takes great joy in imparting ideas, approaches, and helping his students find their voices in the arts.
