Join us in learning to photograph the rise of the moon just before sunset. Working with the golden light of the setting sun, the moon in the sky, and the colorful clouds, we cover the basics of the iPhone camera functions, photo composition and working with natural light. Then we return to the classroom where we learn to process our photos.
This class is led by Shirley Drevich. Since its inception in 2010, she has been immersed in iPhoneography, capturing images with her iPhone and using innovative apps, processing them exclusively on her iPhone, and sometimes her iPad. She has exhibited in juried and invitational iPhoneography exhibitions throughout the US and Europe including New York, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Miami and Italy. Shirley was a finalist in the first Mobile Phone Awards (MPA) and has received Honorable Mentions several years in a row. She has taught classes at Fairchild, University of Miami, The Studios of Key West, and various private venues. Her iPhoneography can be seen here on her Instagram.
Tickets are nonrefundable. This class runs rain or shine.
