Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is pleased to announce that on Saturday, September 26, Chef Niven Patel, one of Food & Wine’s “Best New Chefs” in 2020, will be our celebrity chef for the next installment of our Eat. Drink. Garden, monthly outdoor dining series that highlights specially curated menus by South Florida’s favorite chefs.

As executive chef of the recently opened Mamey in the THesis Hotel Miami in Coral Gables, Chef Patel will prepare a five-course dining experience showcasing island-minded flavors and cuisine inspired by his travels through Asia, Polynesia and the Caribbean, as guests are immersed by the Garden and a star-filled night.

Prior to dinner, guests can enjoy an evening stroll through the Garden.

Member price: $215 per person
Non-Member price: $245 per person

Safety is our highest priority.  The following safety protocols will be in place:

• Reservations will be kept to 30 guests maximum per seating
• Outdoor seating
• Socially distanced tables
• Masks required by all guests until they are seated at their table
• Minimal touch points for guests
• Staff and culinary service teams will wear masks and wash hands throughout dinner service
