Join us for a fun hands-on cooking workshop for both kids and adults! Under the guidance of Short Chef, children and guardians will learn how to make delicious recipes featuring beautiful, edible flowers! We make a bright and colorful tomato and leafy greens salad, speckled with deeply pink and purple flowers; then we make a rich and savory, smoked salmon sandwich inspired by Irish culinary traditions, with a fresh dill mayonnaise and adorned with edible flowers; and finally, we honor the earthier, richer side of flowers with a classic Italian approach to sauteed dandelion greens.
This is class is primarily a demonstration, however each person will have the opportunity to take part in making these dishes, while learning a lot of kitchen wisdom in the process. All supplies will be provided.
