Humans have just begun to learn how to translate nature’s strategies into design principles. Biomimicry is a scientific research-based practice of learning from and replicating nature’s patterns, forms and functions. In this workshop we examine how plant life works at its most basic level and how humans can and have been creating designs to imitate and create sustainable technologies. This workshop will encourage you to examine the biological strategies that plant life uses and how we can learn from this technology to create a greener future.
