It’s Mango Season! Come take advantage of this wonderful time of the year by relaxing and capturing a little bit of mango magic with us! Join our workshop and learn how to create colorfully vivid paintings from a variety of mangos. With the direction of Carlos Gallostra you will develop dynamic illustrative compositions from life in oil or acrylic. Learn and master techniques including layering, blending, and color mixing. All levels are welcome!

Tickets are nonrefundable. This class runs rain or shine. A ticket to this class serves as entry to the Garden, and the Mango Festival, for the whole day of Sunday, July 10, 2022.

Instructor biography: Carlos Gallostra is a representational artist whose practice has been shaped under numerous celebrated mentors in the U.S. and Italy throughout the years. He holds a B.F.A. from the prestigious New World School of the Arts of Miami, where he has taught over the past ten years, as well as an M.F.A. and an M.S. from the Pratt Institute of New York. In addition, he has furthered his studies at various ateliers, academies, and museums throughout the U.S. and abroad. Next to crafting his work, he takes great joy in imparting ideas, approaches, and helping his students find their voices in the arts.
