Event Details

Tuesdays, October 25 – December 13, 2022 (7 weeks) | 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Designed for the beginner in mind (age 12+), this workshop establishes many of the most important steps, concepts, and aesthetic principles towards a creative practice in drawing and painting.

Under the guidance of Carlos Gallostra, you will begin a series of sustained studies in drawing during the first half of the workshop. These drawing studies will be focused on composition and form. With this experience, you will then advance your efforts through painting during the second half of the workshop and focus an investigation of color mixing as it pertains to light.

Through a clear and thorough introduction to drawing and painting methods, you will lay in a groundwork for a portfolio of work that strengthens your skillset and gain a greater appreciation for your creative output as an artist.

Come join us and discover the many wonderful things you will create!
